Broader shoulders for men

Tees like these, as shown above, emphasizes or at least creates an illusion that the person wearing it has broad shoulders. For men, broad shoulders adds up to their machismo. Broad shoulders are common to athletes and people who work out. This illusion focuses the attention on your shoulders or chest and not on other parts of your body that you don't find appealing. If you have good skin then this is a must try for you. You need to focus more on your assets and not on your flaws. This would also go well with any of the following; an earring, a silver necklace, a pair of glasses and a cap. Accessories should be minimal which means 2 pieces of accessories is enough. Lastly, inject a certain level of confidence. You should feel good to look good and not the other way around.

Black and White

You'll never go wrong with black and white. My personal favorite, black skinny jeans paired up with a white top. Minimal accessories needed and are optional. Would also look good with a cap.

My Korean Haircut

Apart from their entertainment world; movies, music and artists. I've always liked how Koreans dress up and how they do their hair. I'll talk about their fashion sense on a separate post and right now I'll comment on their hairstyle. They say each cut is different from the other because they simply want to be unique. I was so happy when I read over the internet that there were Korean salons in Cebu. Below are two of the Korean salons I've heard about.

A friend of mine had her hair rebonded in CoCo Hair Studio and the results were good. It's been months but her hair remains straight and shiny. She was told not go swimming as it would damage her hair. But she had gone swimming and her hair remained as it is. It's either CoCo did a great job with her hair or the chlorine content wasn't that strong ^^. CoCo Hair Studio is said to be the salon for actors and actresses in Korea, not sure if that's true. My friend said that you will get pampered and a Korean hairstylist will come up to check your hair and decide what treatment is needed. By the looks on her face and her hair, very satisfied.

Coco Salon Rebonding Prices

  • Short Hair – Php 1,000
  • Medium Hair – Php 1,200
  • Long Hair – Php 1,400
Just last friday, July 31, 2009, prior to our victory party(it was more of a casual dinner) at Ayala. Two of my colleagues decided to have their hair cut. Since I was also planning to have mine done, I suggested we had it done in Tony and Jackey. So the three of us, together with four other colleagues, went to SM City Cebu. I was quite reluctant myself with the thought of spending P 300.00 for a haircut when I can have it done by a local barber shop for P 25.00. But what the heck, I thought of it as a reward to myself and besides, I've always wanted to have that korean look.

The place was very nice. The Korean guy on the reception was nice. He spoke good english and was very warm. They had Korean hairdressers and some Flipino staffs to do the shampoo, blow dry and finishing touches (hair wax and styling). They had this book of Korean hair styles that one can choose from. I choose the one who had bangs (I'm not loosing hair... I'm gaining face ^^). I guess the Korean guy who did my hair was a bit shy. He did say "Hello" to me the first time he came up to me but didn't say a word since. He kept singing along with the Korean music on the background but he was nice. I kept smiling as he was cutting my hair because I was slowly seeing what the outcome will be. So what happened was the shampoo treatment, then the korean cut, then they had to shampoo me again, blow dried my hair, ironed it out with a P10,000.00 hair straightener from Korea, and lastly styled my hair with hair wax. Verdict?? Very Satisfied!

My colleagues were shocked (in a good way) with the outcome. All of them said I looked good with my new hair. I was always a laughing stock (they make fun of me I make fun of the kinda thing) but at that moment they were just shocked. Originally I grew my hair to shoulder length before I had it cut. They said it looked like a wig ^^. But now I look good and feel good with my new korean hair. Too bad I can't upload a picture of me. But I will surely try these days.
